Motivational Interviewing with Eating Disorder Clients
Motivational interviewing and the transtheoretical model of change will be discussed within the context of using shared decision making to treat patients and families suffering from eating disorders. We will explore treatment-interfering behaviors, societal norms and pressures, and use of CBT and DBT techniques. This interactive event will include opportunities for attendee participation.
