Join us for a continuing education event hosted by Accanto Health and presented by Kelly Pertzsch, MA, LPCC. There is no fee to attend this course. In this webinar, we will offer an in-depth discussion on the overlap of eating disorders and neurodiversity, particularly the diagnoses of ADHD and autism. We'll address the diagnostic criteria for ADHD and autism and how they translate to lived experience. Attendees will also learn how to appropriately screen for neurodiversity, how to differentiate between eating disorder behaviors and ADHD/ autism symptoms, and how to tailor care for those with these diagnoses. You are responsible for your individual requirements as stipulated by your licensing agency.   • Kelly Pertzsch, MA, LPCC

    Kelly Pertzsch is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota. She began working at The Emily Program in 2015, and has worked in a variety of clinical positions since then, she is currently a Clinical Education Specialist. Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Richmond, the American International University in London and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a certificate in Eating Disorder Studies from the Lewis and Clark College. She has treated eating disorders her entire career and has worked in community mental health, private practice, and a college counseling center. Since 2020 she has developed a specialty in treating ADHD humans and is a certified ADHD clinical service provider. Kelly has a particular interest in the intersection of eating disorder treatment and social justice, the overlap of neurodiversity and eating disorders, and Health at Every Size.

100% Attendance Policy

All attendance will be monitored and recorded. Due to accreditation guidelines, continuing education credit will not be awarded to participants who do not attend a presentation in its entirety. Participants not meeting this time requirement will not be awarded continuing education (CE) credits. We recommend logging on to the webinar 10 minutes prior to the session start time to earn satisfactory attendance for CE credits. 


Evaluation of each session will also be required in order to obtain any continuing education (CE) certificates.
