While They Wait: Supporting Clients as They Prepare for Treatment

CE Hours 1.25

About this course

Join us for a continuing education course hosted by Accanto Health and presented by Kirsten Nielsen, RDN, LD. There is no fee to attend this course. In this training session, we will explore ways in which referring providers can support their clients and families as they consider eating disorder treatment recommendations and prepare for starting treatment. We will delve into barriers that delay seeking and starting treatment and are frequently cited by clients and families. We will cover the key steps and team members integral to the admission process and shed light on the distinctive features of our treatment approach. With this knowledge, you will be well-equipped to guide clients and their families through this crucial step in the treatment process. You are responsible for your individual requirements as stipulated by your licensing agency. Please contact your individual licensing board/regulatory agency to review continuing education requirements for licensure renewal. Please reach out to outreach@accanto.com with questions.
