About this course

Please enjoy a recording of this event hosted by Accanto Health and presented by Stacy Schilter Pisano, LMFT, CEDS-S. Binge Eating Disorder is more prevalent than Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa combined, yet specialty programs are less common and may be more difficult to access. In response, CARE IOP, a virtual, stand-alone IOP, was researched and developed to meet the needs of individuals recovering from a pattern of binge eating. Offering weight-inclusive care and addressing the complex interplay of variables that contribute to binge or overeating behaviors, CARE IOP provides an opportunity to develop understanding, insight, skills and self-compassion related to one’s experience while focusing on the establishment of a peaceful relationship with food. Course Instructor(s)

  • Stacy Schilter Pisano LMFT, CEDS-S

    Stacy Schilter Pisano is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington state and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. For nearly two decades, Stacy has helped individuals and families affected by body dissatisfaction, disordered eating, and clinical eating disorders. Since 2014, Stacy has been the director of The Emily Program’s South Sound location in Olympia, Washington. Within this role, she oversees a multidisciplinary team of providers offering PHP, IOP, OP, and FBT services. Stacy also collaboratively developed and supervises Accanto’s CARE IOP, a specialty program designed to support people overcoming Binge Eating Disorder and available virtually in Minnesota, Washington, and Ohio.
